Job Description
SQL Developer Intern
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining SQL databases and applications
- Write and optimize SQL queries
- Support data migration transformation and loading processes
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic
- Perform data analysis and provide insights to support decisionmaking
- Participate in the development and implementation of data security and data integrity measures
- Contribute to the documentation of database processes and procedures
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving database issues and performance bottlenecks
- Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in SQL and database management
- Support the development team in testing and debugging database applications
Required Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Basic understanding of relational database management systems and SQL
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles
- Proficiency in a programming language such as Java Python or C#
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detailoriented and highly organized
- Desire to learn and grow in database development and management
- Previous internship or project experience in database development is a plus
