Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining database systems using SQL and MySQL
- Write and optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient database performance
- Participate in database design and development projects
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve database issues
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights
- Implement security measures to safeguard database information
- Assist in database documentation and maintenance
- Participate in testing and debugging of database applications
- Develop and maintain stored procedures and functions
- Contribute to database performance tuning and optimization
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Experience with SQL and MySQL database management
- Strong understanding of database design principles
- Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries
- Knowledge of indexing and query optimization techniques
- Experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Understanding of data modeling and normalization
- Familiarity with database security best practices
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with ETL processes and tools (preferred)
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (a plus)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
