Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in writing and optimizing SQL statements and stored procedures.
- Contribute to database design and system architecture.
- Participate in data migration transformation and scripting processes.
- Work on database performance tuning and optimization tasks.
- Support quality assurance processes by writing and executing SQL scripts for testing.
- Assist in troubleshooting databaserelated issues.
- Participate in the documentation of database processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior developers and database administrators on various projects.
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.
- Assist in adhoc data analysis and reporting tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a degree program in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
- Programming experience in languages such as Python Java or C#.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL SQL Server or Oracle.
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools like Microsoft Excel or Power BI.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Understanding of data security and privacy regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
