Overview:
The US Recruiter plays a crucial role in the organizations talent acquisition process responsible for sourcing screening and facilitating the placement of qualified candidates. They collaborate with hiring managers manage the full recruitment cycle and contribute to the companys growth and success through strategic talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
- Screen resumes and job applications
- Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
- Coordinate and schedule interviews
- Facilitate the followup process after interviews
- Update and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Negotiate employment offers and communicate the terms and conditions to candidates
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
- Conduct candidate assessments to ensure fit and qualification
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Contribute to the enhancement of the recruitment process and employer brand
- Participate in career events and job fairs to promote the company and engage with potential candidates
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an inhouse recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
- Experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone structured group)
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong decisionmaking skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Indepth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proven experience in networking and relationship building
- Strong negotiating skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Certification in HR or Recruiting (e.g. PHR AIRS LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter) is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms for recruiting
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing sourcing techniques such as Boolean searches and outreach campaigns
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding recruitment targets
