Job Description
Bronx Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for the Evening Shift in Bronx NY.
Duties:
Bronx Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is a 200bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. One of the earliest members of the Centers Health Care family weve been leading the way ever since. Weve developed into an outstanding rehabilitation center a renowned skilled nursing facility and one of the boroughs leading providers of inpatient and inhome renal dialysis. But as weve grown larger and more advanced offering more sophisticated rehab and care weve retained our home town culture. Our staff is committed to ensuring the highest quality of life for all our residents helping each to get stronger healthier and happier. Duties:
- Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents & families
- Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests
- Maintain a safe & clean working environment by implementing rules & regulations
- Ensure resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing
- Manage documentation of resident care services
- Promote a cooperative relationship among health care teams
- Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years LongTerm Care experience required
- Strong Supervision and Oversight Skills
- Should be a strong and positive Team Director for all members of the staff
- Familiar with EHR and Prescribing programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
