We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Business Development to lead our sales efforts across Africa. The ideal candidate should have over 7 years experience in sales leadership particularly within the Telecom Banking and Finance industries. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to drive sales growth in a competitive market. This is a contractual vacancy for 2 years.

- Language Skills: Fluency in English and French is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the expansion strategy for the African market to achieve revenue objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive market expansion.
- Collaborate with the sales marketing and product teams to align business development strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the Telecom Banking and Finance sectors.
- Identify and solve any conflicts pertaining to the business side and eliminate any misconceptions or misunderstanding.
- Overseeing the preparation and implementation of RFP documentation
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Set up meetings for events and participate in events as required.
- Actively support marketing and inside sales activities as and when required.
- Collecting correct data to prepare proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Ability to approach and set up new local partnerships across Africa.
