Full time (MonFri/40 hour )
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure data quality through managing information through the full data life cycle.
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies and procedures.
- Support the maintenance of production application troubleshooting issues
- deploying code updates and fixes.
- Adhoc reporting using Oracle SQL.
- Adhoc script creation using shell scripting for monitoring and providing
- temporary workarounds for production incidents.
- Proficient in Root cause analysis .
- Ownership of incident tickets till resolution.
- Coordination with infrastructure teams for faster problem resolution.
- Handling production releases minimizing downtime and ensuring availability of production systems.
- Functional queries clarification from Application business users consumers.
- Implement ITIL processes such as incident management problem management & Release management.
- Maintain production support documentation.
- Planning effort/cost tracking and maintaining SLA/KPI reports for GOS program.
- Ensuring 100 % adherence to SLAs for the project operation / production support activities.
- Training and mentoring of team members.
- Interact with application stakeholders as SME.
- Proactive monitoring of applications and health check on regular basis.
- Daily/Monthly/Quarterly/Year end support for application batch processing.
Required Skills:
Primary skill
- Oracle SQL Unix scripting
- PL SQL and Unix are the two primary skills we are looking with production support experience
- Detailed and handson experience/ knowledge of financial securities reference
- data domain.
- Excellent Knowledge of reference data management.
- Excellent Knowledge of Oracle database and Experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
- Excellent Knowledge of Unix Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of Incident and Problem management tools like ServiceNow or similar.
- Maintain and manage batch jobs using ControlM or similar.
- IBM MQ monitoring using MO71 or similar.
- Analytically minded and methodical problem solver.
- Good knowledge of Java framework and the general Java development landscape.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly grasp new concepts.
- Able to efficiently prioritize work and timely inform stakeholders on the progress.
- Strong communication skills and proficient in L2/L3 technical support.
- Indepth knowledge of ITIL processes.
