hotel sales managers responsibilities include:
Sales strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
Client relations: Work with clients and partners to secure event bookings group reservations and corporate contracts
Market research: Conduct market research to identify business opportunities
Sales team management: Supervise the sales team and set performance targets
Contract negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and vendors
Sales reporting: Prepare and present sales reports to senior management
Relationship building: Build relationships with current and potential customers
Industry trends: Provide feedback on industry changes and trends
Computer proficiency: Be proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Office and sales management software
Flexibility: Be flexible to work long hours and on weekends if necessary
