Job Description

For our client a pioneer in timber construction projects we are looking for a driven Financial (Project) Controller. In this multifaceted role you will have the opportunity not only to use your financial expertise but also to actively contribute to the further development of the organization. What are you going to do
As a Financial (Project) Controller you are responsible for the financial followup of our clients unique timber construction projects. You are the linchpin in their financial administration and play a crucial role in the success of their projects. Your main responsibilities include:
- Ensure the financial followup and control of their projects from start to finish.
- Conducting the entire financial administration including integrated project administration.
- Preparation of detailed internal reports and periodically discussing and interpreting these figures.
- Act as a point of contact for external financial service providers and partners.
In addition to these core tasks you will work on designing and implementing dashboards with project KPIs using tools such as Power BI. You will play a key role in the further development of their administrative project organisation and the optimisation of their planning and control cycle.
Who are you
For this challenging role we are looking for a Financial (Project) Controller who recognizes himself in the following profile:
- A completed financial education preferably at HBO or WO level.
- Several years of experience in a similar role within projectdriven environments.
- Experience with project management software and Power BI.
- Strong communication skills and a flexible attitude.
- You are both an independent gogetter and a team player.
- Ownership and a strong sense of responsibility come naturally to you.
- A proactive and positive personality who gets energy from improving processes.

Requirements
- A completed financial education preferably at HBO or WO level.

Completed associate degree or college education in a financial field (such as accountancy, business economics or finance). Several years of experience, preferably in accountancy or within the e-commerce sector. Excellent skills in Excel for efficient data analysis. Knowledge of Exact Globe (or Exact Online) is an advantage. Analytical skills and an eye for detail. Strong communication skills and a team player. Proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
