Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Grails / Spring Boot Software Developer to join our fastgrowing team.
Our technology powers the makers of a zerocarbon future
One Click LCA offersan innovative carbon accounting and reduction SaaS platform that is used in over 170 countries and is growing rapidly. We target construction and manufacturing industries responsible for nearly half of the global carbon emissions.It integrates with all the leading design software packages and all environmental databases in the industry and provides over 60 modules for lowcarbon design and carbon transparency.
You will join a supportive effective and missionoriented team in a flexible friendly and international work environment and have a great deal of autonomy in your role.
This fulltime permanent position is available for candidates based in our Helsinki office inFinland (preferred) or remotely.
What you will do:
- Develop the SaaS platform as part of the crossfunctional team todevelop new features and services
- Write clean maintainable code and design implementation approach togetherwith colleagues
- As a team you own what you build which means that you take care of the smooth operations of the productfrom start to production
- Investigate and solve technical problems
- Act as an example and mentor for less experienced colleagues sharing best practices and ways of working as a developer
What you need:
- Several years of experience in developing professional projects or solutions
- Solid experience with Java/Spring Boot ideally also with Groovy/Grails
- Proficiency with MongoDB
- Strong understanding of writing efficient highquality and scalable code including refactoring to improve resilience and reduce errors
- Experience in designing and developing REST APIs
- Proficiency in unit testing and documentation
- Experience with Docker and containerbased CI/CD
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Willingness to work in a fastpaced agile environment
