1. JOB DETAILS

  • Position Title: Manager / AVP / DVP – IR
  • Reports to: Senior Vice President IR
  • Team: Investments – IR
  • Location: Bangalore

3. JOB OBJECTIVE

The organization is looking for a Senior Associate with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join its Investor Relations team in Ahmedabad. The Senior Associate's primary responsibilities will include developing the investor franchise for the firm's funds and portfolio strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong investor franchise for the organization's funds and portfolio strategies.
  • Create and maintain a database of a wide range of investors (Corporate Treasuries NBFCs Family Offices and Private Wealth Distributors).
  • Arrange meetings with potential investors and make presentations/pitches for the firm’s funds and portfolio strategies.
  • Conduct regular followup calls and meetings with current and potential investors.
  • Build deep relationships with investors and develop a strong investor franchise.
  • Understand investor requirements/market feedback and communicate to the Product team for new product development.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the products including regulations tax and documentation.
  • Manage endtoend transaction closures.
  • Provide postinvestment support to investors.
  • Develop a sound understanding of the sectors and entities the firm represents through field visits and interactions with internal teams.
  • Be at the forefront of gauging investor appetite for new asset classes/products.
  • Network within the industry.
  • Represent the organization at conferences and seminars.
  • Create visibility for the organization across investors.
  • Strong sales experience and networking skills.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to own the role and develop highquality coverage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of structured products.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Interest in financial inclusion and the opportunities this space represents.
  • Ability to stretch oneself work under pressure handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problemsolving attitude.
  • Strong work ethic positive attitude selfmotivated and capable of working individually and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MBA or Postgraduate in Management from a premier institute/Chartered Accountant/CFA

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in sales roles – Private Banking Private Wealth Distribution Mutual Fund Distribution Private Equity / AIF Fundraising or similar roles.
