Our client is a global leader in construction and infrastructure solutions across the APAC region and is expanding its team for a hospital project in Hong Kong. They are currently seeking highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineers willing to relocate and join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Plan design and oversee construction projects from conception to completion ensuring adherence to project specifications budgets and timelines.
Conduct structural analysis and design of buildings bridges roads and other infrastructure projects utilizing engineering principles and software tools to ensure structural integrity and safety.
Perform site investigations evaluate soil conditions and assess environmental factors to inform project designs and construction methods.
Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations and codes governing construction projects obtaining necessary permits and approvals as required.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects considering materials labor equipment and other expenses to effectively manage project finances.
Supervise construction activities monitor progress and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the construction phase to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.
Implement quality assurance and control measures to maintain high standards of construction workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Identify potential risks and hazards associated with construction projects develop risk mitigation strategies and implement safety protocols to minimize accidents and ensure worker safety.
Collaborate with architects contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities resolve conflicts and facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings reports and correspondence and provide regular progress reports to management and clients to keep stakeholders informed.
Requirements
- Min Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Min 3 5 years of experience as a Design Engineer in a construction or healthcare projects
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D) and structural design software (ETABS SAP2000).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders.
- Detailoriented and capable of producing accurate work under tight deadlines.
- Willing to relocate to Hong Kong during project duration
- Bilingual in Mandarin and Cantonese
