Data Centre Facilities Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the operation and maintenance of all data centre facilities including HVAC electrical and mechanical systems.
  
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure 24/7 operations system redundancy and disaster recovery.
  
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracts to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) for equipment and facility maintenance.
  
• Conduct regular audits of the facility to identify risks and ensure uptime and reliability.
  
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to optimize infrastructure performance.
  
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and all regulatory compliance requirements are adhered to.
  
• Prepare and manage the annual budget for the data centre controlling costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
  

Requirements

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in facilities management engineering or a related technical field.
  
• 8 years of experience managing facilities with at least 4 years in a data centre environment.
  
• Proven track record in managing data centre infrastructure and ensuring high availability.
  
• Indepth knowledge of critical systems (UPS generators HVAC fire suppression).
  
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
  
• Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
  
• Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced missioncritical environment.
  

Preferred Certifications:

• Data Centre Design Awareness
  
• Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCMP)
  
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
