Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the operation and maintenance of all data centre facilities including HVAC electrical and mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure 24/7 operations system redundancy and disaster recovery.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracts to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) for equipment and facility maintenance.
- Conduct regular audits of the facility to identify risks and ensure uptime and reliability.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to optimize infrastructure performance.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met and all regulatory compliance requirements are adhered to.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget for the data centre controlling costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in facilities management engineering or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience managing facilities with at least 4 years in a data centre environment.
- Proven track record in managing data centre infrastructure and ensuring high availability.
- Indepth knowledge of critical systems (UPS generators HVAC fire suppression).
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced missioncritical environment.
Preferred Certifications:
- Data Centre Design Awareness
- Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCMP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
