Our client is a large French corporation in the engineering sector recruiting a CFO for a new entity recently acquired in Toronto ON.
Your Key Duties:
As the CFO you will be instrumental in leading the postacquisition integrationof the companywithin the Group.
Provide leadership direction and management to the finance and accounting team.
Work closely with senior executives to optimize the financial performance and strategic position of the company.
Be responsible for aligning the financial reporting local organization and systems with the global standards
Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting including monthly financial statements forecasts and budgets
Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Start date :ASAP (September 2024)
Your Skills and Competencies:
You are an seasoned CFO with experience working within global organizations
You have experience with guiding companies through periods of transformation as growth mergers and acquisitions.
Ideally you are familiarwith the engineering and infrastructure sectors and the unique financial challenges they present.
You have a proven track record of developing and executing strategies that drive financial stability and growth in rapidly evolving industries.
Position overview:
- Fulltime position
- 6 to 12 months contract (6 months minimum)
- Based in Toronto (Canada)
- Remote policy: 1 to 2 days a week
- Day Rate (depending on your profile) : CA $1 500 to CA$2 200
