Title: Senior Developer

Location: Considering applications from Breda the Netherlands (and those willing to relocate to Breda at their own cost)

What we need
We are looking for a superstar Senior PHP Developer with expert skills in Vanilla PHP. Utilising your 5 years of experience in PHP Development youll be vital to the success of developing and updating new and current features with our Development Team across our awardwinning cloudbased Hotel Management System. You will be a cut above the rest if you have experience in the successful development of SaaS products.
Tasks
- Develop new and improve existing features as part of the teams sprint goals
- Troubleshoot debug and maintain existing software measured in line with the engineering performance framework
- Code development and architecture based on development lead to specifications.
- Collaborate well with the development team Lead developer and Product Owner/Product Manager
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Add Shooting star additional tasks that are part of the role (not as business as usual going the extra mile) but not always measured in QPA
Requirements
- BSc Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Relevant Software Related Qualification
- 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Solid experience in PHP MySQL Sass Git REST
- Design code and maintain applications using best practices
- Troubleshoot test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Excellent communication skills to both understand the needs of the project but also give feedback to stakeholders and input to other team members
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Knowledge and experience working in an agile/scrum environment
- Ability to work with an international team with international customers in different time zones
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness efficiency and ease
- Possess proficient analytical and decisionmaking skills.
