Tasks

As our Founding Head of Engineering youll be the technical backbone of our company. The company is based in Berlin and has recently been founded. The founder is a seasoned CEO who has built two profitable companies and raised 15m in venture capital. We are currently assembling an Ateam of specialists starting with the magic trio of product design and engineering to bring the vision to life.

Requirements

• Fullstack development: Youre a master of building robust web applications from frontend to backend. Proficient in frameworks like React Node.js and databases like PostgreSQL.
• Cloud infrastructure expertise: Youre comfortable navigating cloud platforms like AWS Heroku or Azure to deploy and scale our application.
• Travel enthusiast: You have a genuine passion for exploring different cultures and seeking adventures.
• Founding spirit: Youre excited about the opportunity to join a startup own equity wear multiple hats and shape the companys direction.
• Inperson collaboration: You enjoy working in an office environment for crucial discussions and regular meetings with the founding team during the ProductMarketFit stage.
• Language proficiency: Fluent in German and/or English.

Nicetohaves:

• Geospatial expertise: Experience with map APIs geocoding routing and spatial data manipulation.
• Team leadership: Youve successfully led engineering teams in the past.
