Quality Manager

My client a well established company in the steel fabrication industry is currently recruiting for a Quality Manager in the Kempton Park area

Quality Manager would contribute to the purpose of the business by:

Planning controlling and managing the Quality people processes and systems.

Coordinating the quality team so as to integrate seamlessly with other departments.

Responsible for Client satisfaction

Achieving: On Time In Full Always Safely

Minimum Requirements:

• 6 years at Artisan Level
• 5 Years as QC inspector
• 2 Years Safety Officer
• 5 Years as SHEQ Manager
• Experience in implementation of ISO& ISO 45001
• Experience in implementation of EN 3834.
• A minimum of 10 years experience as a quality manager in a midsize business
• Excellent people management skills
• Ability to coach team members inhouse and infield
• In depth understanding of managing and motivating a team
• Excellent understanding of production processes
• Excellent understanding of key measurement and metrics which drive OTIFAS.
• Ability to analyze production and make improvements
• Very good computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Work Excel PowerPoint Outlook Internet Browser) and STRUMIS
• Strong track record of managing successful production teams
• Training/Development/Coaching Actively & successfully trains people. Coaches & develops for promotion into positions where they succeed. People builder.
• Goal Setting Sets fair stretch goals for self & others. Encourages individual initiative.
