Attorney - Insurance Defense

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in insurance defense cases including personal injury property damage and professional liability.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings motions and discovery responses.
• Develop and execute case strategies from start to finish.
• Participate in pretrial trial and posttrial proceedings including depositions mediations and court appearances.
• Provide clients with regular updates and legal advice.
• Collaborate with attorneys paralegals and support staff for efficient case management.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
• Stay current with insurance defense law and fulfill all CLE requirements.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the Texas Bar in good standing.
• At least 5 years of insurance defense experience.
• Able to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detailoriented and wellorganized.
• Proficient with legal research tools and case management software.
• Committed to ongoing professional development and CLE compliance.
