Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data warehouse requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and develop ETL processes to extract transform and load data into the data warehouse.
- Implement and maintain data modeling techniques to optimize data warehouse performance and scalability.
- Conduct data quality assessments and ensure data integrity within the data warehouse.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for data warehouse solutions.
- Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance including query optimization and indexing strategies.
- Assist in the implementation and administration of data warehouse security measures.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data warehouse processes data models and configurations.
- Participate in data warehouse capacity planning and scalability efforts.
- Stay updated on data warehouse best practices industry trends and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Proven experience in data warehouse design development and implementation.
- Strong proficiency in ETL tools and processes.
- Expertise in data modeling and database management.
- Handson experience with Business Intelligence tools and platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization.
- Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of data warehouse solutions.
- Knowledge of data warehouse security best practices and implementation.
- Familiarity with data warehouse capacity planning and scalability concepts.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) are a plus.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.
- Experience with cloudbased data warehouse solutions is advantageous.
