Job Description: Quality Control Engineer Sugar Plant Machinery


Position: Quality Control Engineer
Location: Lalkyuan Ghaziabad
Industry: Sugar Plant Machinery Manufacturing




Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes for sugar plant machinery ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of raw materials components and finished products to detect defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Testing: Perform various tests on machinery and components including stress testing performance testing and durability assessments to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections tests and quality reports. Ensure that all documentation is uptodate and accessible for audits.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with ISO standards and other relevant industry regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and collaborate with the engineering team to implement enhancements.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve any qualityrelated issues that arise during production working closely with the production and engineering teams.
  • Supplier Evaluation: Assess and qualify suppliers based on their ability to meet quality standards for materials and components.
  • Training: Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and standards to ensure consistent application across the manufacturing process.
  • Audits: Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system and prepare for external audits.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field. A specialization in Quality Management or Manufacturing Engineering is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 35 years of experience in quality control preferably in the manufacturing of industrial machinery or sugar plant equipment.
    • Strong background in quality assurance processes testing methods and compliance with industry standards.
  • Certifications:
    • Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001) is highly desirable.
    • Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification is an advantage.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in quality control tools and techniques (e.g. Statistical Process Control Root Cause Analysis Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring highquality standards.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with various departments.
    • Proficient in using quality management software and tools such as ERP systems.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Indepth understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery used in sugar plant operations.
    • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations for machinery production.
