Key Responsibilities:

• Newborn Care: Provide expert care for a firstborn baby including feeding diapering bathing and always ensuring the baby s comfort and safety at all times.
  
• Bilingual Communication: Utilize Spanish and English in daily interactions to foster a bilingual environment enhancing the babys early language development.
  
• Routine Establishment: Assist parents in establishing healthy sleep and feeding routines promoting a calm and structured environment for the newborn.
  
• Parental Support: Offer guidance and reassurance to firsttime parents sharing best practices in newborn care and helping them adjust to their new roles.
  
• Developmental Milestones: Monitor and encourage the babys physical and emotional development ensuring ageappropriate activities and stimulation.
  
• Health & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety adhering to all protocols to protect the newborn s wellbeing.
  
• Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties related to the baby including laundry bottle sterilization and maintaining a tidy nursery.
  

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nanny specializing in newborn care with a proven track record of supporting firsttime parents.
  
• Language Skills: Fluency in both Spanish and English with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  
• Certification: Relevant certifications in newborn care first aid and CPR.
  
• Cultural Sensitivity: An understanding of and respect for different cultural practices especially in a multicultural household.
  
• Personality: Warm patient and nurturing with a calm demeanor and a passion for early childhood development.
