Position: Assistant Equipment Manager
- Liaising with container rental companies to acquire new contract for buying/leasing the container.
- Working on import plan with agents to reduce empty repo cost to the desired location.
- Manage all idling container assets in the region (including damage sale/off hire) to reduce the operating cost.
- Timely approval of EOR segregate units by grade wise Upgrade units based on the shippers requirements
- Preparation and submission of M&R collection / recovery report
- Meeting dept and organizational goals
- Liaise with FLOs depots leasing companies on pending M&R approvals turnaround of damage reefers any disputes tt may arise esp from leasing companies after offhiring
- Ensure each depot to adhere to KPI set eg Inspection repair cycle etc.
- Ensure all FLOs promptly update their TMS container transactions within KPI set.
- Conduct regular audit with depots to ensure internal KPIs repair standards / criteria are properly followed

Qualifications/ Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of work experience from the same field.
- Any graduate preferred candidate from shipping industry.
- Good knowledge of MS Office Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal communication (both written and verbal)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills and meticulous
- Ability to work independently and meet tight datelines.
- Able to communicate in English
