You will be updated with latest job alerts via email Responsible for providing PMO support and guidance to the projects/programmes under the scope of delivery within a Pillar.
• The point of contact / go-to person for guidance and support on PMO processes and standards. Providing value to the Portfolio manager to be able to advise what areas of improvement are needed or focus on certain aspects of project delivery.
• Understands the overall objectives and priorities of the projects / programmes within the portfolio and aware of the pipeline of new projects / programmes.
• Understands the project/programme details, the deliverables, dependencies and outcomes. Be aware of any risks / issues or constraints within the projects that might impact or disrupt the portfolio business outcomes.
• Perform internal quality audit, following transition guidelines and generate periodic quality reports.
• Support and guide delivery teams with recommendations of best practises to ensure projects and programmes arebeing delivered in accordance with any applicable standards set and expectations from the Portfolios and business, including adherence to KPIs and quality standards.
• Drive the implementation and adoption of new processes / standards that may be requested from the PMO Management team.
• Drives pillar governance, ensuring reporting of project/programme status, KPI's, capacity and other reporting is completed to the agreed timescales, standards, and quality.
• Provides Portfolio reporting, information and accurate data to the Senior Transition project manager, highlighting Portfolio Risks and Issues and any decisions that need to be made.
Programme Management Support
• Provide best practice guidance / advice, in the form of templates, presentations, mentoring and communications to the project team(s)
• Assist the Programme Managers in the production and maintenance of project plans.
• Co-ordinate the production of all reports and produce summary reports.
