Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Appian Architect with over 10 years of IT experience including at least 2 years dedicated to Appian architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing building and supporting applications using Appian with a strong focus on creating scalable and maintainable solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural design data modeling and the ability to lead technical reviews while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Design: Create and oversee architectural designs for loosely coupled suites of applications ensuring scalability reliability and efficiency in individual features.

Application Development: Lead the endtoend technical design development stabilization and enhancement of Appian applications adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Data Modeling: Design data models develop SQL queries and create stored procedures to support application functionality.

Technical Leadership: Lead and actively participate in technical and operations reviews sharing knowledge and best practices with team members.

Documentation: Organize track progress and maintain comprehensive documentation using document repositories.

Reusable Components: Build and share reusable components to improve development efficiency and consistency across projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Application Development: Design build and configure applications to meet specific business process and application requirements.

Enhancements and Change Requests: Address enhancement and change requests from lines of business (LOB) ensuring timely delivery and quality.

Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with and mentor junior resources to successfully achieve project goals and enhance team capabilities.

Independent Work: Capable of independently managing tasks and responsibilities demonstrating strong initiative and problemsolving skills.

Agile Processes: Adhere to and actively participate in standard Agile processes including sprint planning standups and retrospectives.

Support: Willingness to provide support outside regular office hours if necessary ensuring project continuity and client satisfaction.

Release Management: Follow the release management and code deployment processes to effectively migrate code changes across environments.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Educational Background: Engineering degree or a degree in IT/Computer Applications.

Software Development Expertise: Extensive knowledge of software development practices and methodologies.

Agile Methodologies: Indepth understanding of Agile methodologies including experience with management tools like JIRA and QC.

Analytical and ProblemSolving Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of solving complex technical problems.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders and global counterparts.

Learning Attitude: A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and working on innovative projects.

Flexibility: Ability to handle adhoc requests and work on dynamic Agile projects.
