Benefits essment Officer

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Waltham Forest to assist with the appointment of a Benefits Assessment Officer on a 4.5month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 18.50 23.25 per Hour

Requirements:

• Experienced Benefits Officers who can accurately process all types of Housing Benefit Council Tax Support and discretionary schemes including Discretionary Housing Payments.
• Experience of processing Local welfare assistance household support fund and free school meals are desirable but not essential.
• Candidates must be proficient in using the Capita processing system and have experience of using a document management system ideally Civicas workflow 360 system (Comino).
