Pharmacy Dispensing istant

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lancaster to assist with the appointment of a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant on a 1.5month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 12.10 14.78 per Hour

Responsibilities:

• Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensuring dispensing losses are minimised
• Ensuring accurate handling and dispensing on all medicines NHS and private
• Complying with legal and professional requirements and Company SOPs
• Assist in the delivery of all pharmacy services where appropriate
• Ensuring all customers and patients receive safe and accurate advice on medicines including OTC medication as required
• Delivering on all aspects of the Dispensing role including ordering medicines labelling dispensing endorsing with appropriate claims

Qualifications:

• You will have a NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services / Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed by a GPhC accredited route.
• Experience of working in a community pharmacy ideally with experience of using Pharmacy Manager software
• Working NHS Smartcard

Please note:

• You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires a basic DBS
