Press Operator

As an individual contributor he should have asound knowledge of the entire printing process as well as technicalknow-how of the machine that he operates. The purpose of this roleis to ensure smooth running of the printing that leads to customersatisfaction. Ensures that all presses are supplied and fed withrequired quantities of paper and other consumables to producequality outputs
• Reviewingjob orders to make the right adjustments to the printingmachine
• Reviewing job orders to make the rightadjustments to the printing machine
• Prepare,Operate and Maintain the press:
• Installation ofthe printing plate with the images to be printed and adjusts thepressure at which the machine prints
• loadspaper and adjust the press to the papersize
• Feeds paper through the press cylindersand adjust feed and tension controls
• Fills inkand dampening solution fountains ofpress
• Adjusts press machineparts
• Regularly inspect press machine for anymalfunctions
• Performs maintenance task on theprinting machine
• Performs troubleshooting onminor machine issues such as creaking soundsetc.
• Coordinate with the in-house maintenanceteam for any machine malfunctions
• Cleaning ofthe printing press and peripherals
• Certificateof any program in PrintingTechnology
