Automation tester with Java

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium Postman and SoapUI.
• Testing web services and APIs using automation tools and frameworks.
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to understand and analyze testing requirements.
• Implementing and executing automated testing strategies across multiple projects.
• Identifying analyzing and documenting software defects and inconsistencies.
• Creating and maintaining test documentation including test plans test cases and test reports.
• Participating in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Conducting root cause analysis of identified issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Working closely with developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and early detection of issues.
• Contributing to the enhancement of automation frameworks and tools.
• Providing technical support and guidance to team members on automation best practices.
• Performing regression testing to validate quality and stability of the software.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning and estimation.
• Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation and web service testing.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in automated testing using Selenium Postman and SoapUI.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java for test automation.
• Indepth understanding of web services and API testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced development environment.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and principles.
• Certifications in testing or relevant technologies is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies rapidly.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing processes.
• Experience in continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Capability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
