CNC Lathe Machinist
Pay:$23.64/hr.5% shift differential
Hours:Monday Friday 3:30PM2AM (overtime possibilities on Friday)
Job type:Temp to Hire
Location:Tulsa Oklahoma
Join us as a CNC Lathe Machinist and operate and set up standard lathe and CNC machines to shape metal components with precision ensuring high productivity and minimal rejections.
What youll be doing:
- Set up and operate standard lathe and CNC machine tools to shape metal bars forgings and castings to precise dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and written specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Utilize shop mathematics and skillfully handle machinist hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Work with various metals speeds and feeds and operate one or more machines to meet production and quality standards.
MustHave Qualifications:
- 5 years minimum relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Conversational programming experience (Mazatrol) preferred.
- Strong math skills particularly with fractions and decimals.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
