This is a remote position.
SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Senior Windows Systems Engineer to join our Enterprise Engineering Team. As a Systems Engineer you will provide L2 support and perform engineering tasks as needed by the client. It will be your job to acknowledge escalations from the System Support and System Analyst teams update case notes in our ticketing system monitor email and work on cases both on a selfstarting and assignment basis.
This is a fully remote position. You will work with a team of international colleagues providing follow the sun support for global trading markets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver a stellar remote enduser and systems support experience.
- Provide Level 2 System Admin and System Support for client infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage calls chats and case management queues.
- Perform documented procedures with attention to quality and detail.
- See cases and calls through to clientconfirmed resolutions.
- Work from a ticketing system and document supportrelated solutions and client environments.
- Identify and troubleshoot repetitive issues for root cause analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of Windows Server administration configuration and management.
- 3 years of PowerShell knowledge for modifying and updating scripts.
- 3 years of Windows Failover Cluster management.
- Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis on Windows Servers.
- Professional and concise communication both verbal and written.
- PowerShell skills beyond simple queries; must be able to read and write longform PowerShell scripts and operations that use variables references and long operations.
- Windows NT Share configuration and modification.
- Active Directory modifications.
- Knowledge of backup best practices.
- Ability to be proactive and speak up when you see an issue.
- Monitor ticket chat and email queues to acknowledge cases within SLA requirements.
- Attention to detail.

- Experience working on an international team.
- VMware experience.
- Avamar working experience.
- WinSCP and FTP knowledge.
- DataDog and SNMP tools.
- Splunk usage to pull relevant events.
