HOP School Room Supervisor

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lewisham to assist with the appointment of a HOP School Room Supervisor on a 3month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 22.62 29.15 per Hour

Hours Per Week: 25.00

Responsibilities:

• To raise the educational outcomes of all UHL Childrens Ward inpatients attending the School Room using identified online teaching programmes
• To lead on education planning in the School Room for the team around the child providing specialist support to a range of professionals.
• To provide early intervention specialist support for young people out of school and admitted to UHL for medical reasons.
• To provide effective monitoring and auditing of educational achievement of School Room attendees.
• To provide relevant advice on education of School Room attendees to Virtual school staff and a range of partner agencies.

Qualifications:

• Higher Level Teacher Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Excellent numeracy/literacy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 2
• Experience working with children of relevant age in a learning environment
• Excellent written and communication skills including appropriate ICT skills.

• You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires an enhanced DBS
