About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Associate Attorney to join the hive on behalf of our client a wellestablished boutique law firm in Pasadena. In this role youll be responsible for handling various aspects of civil litigation with a focus on Medical Malpractice General Liability and Employment defense. If youre passionate about litigation and have a knack for managing complex cases we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Draft and Review: Draft review and respond to discovery documents and motions.
• Deposition Handling: Attend take and defend depositions including both fact and expert witnesses.
• Research & Summarization: Conduct legal/medical research and summarize meetings with expert witnesses as well as various records.
• Court Representation: Attend court hearings and argue motions as necessary.
• Trial Preparation: Assist in trial preparation including drafting trial documents and motions in limine.
• What You Bring:
• Education: Graduate from an ABAaccredited law school.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney with a focus on civil litigation (plaintiff or defense).
• Bar Membership: Member of the California Bar in good standing.
• Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills ability to manage complex caseloads and work independently with minimal oversight.

• Medical Malpractice Interest: Interest in medical malpractice litigation preferred.
• Litigation Experience: Prior experience in medical malpractice or civil litigation defense is a plus.
