Job Description
Chicago area firm has a longterm opportunity for ownership and partnership for a Civil Design Engineer!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Municipal Infrastructure Projects from the preliminary engineering phase through the public bidding process
- Communicate with Construction Engineering team
- Work directly with Municipal Engineers and Municipal staff
- Manage junior staff during the design phase
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- 5 years of Municipal Engineering experience
- Experience with Transportation and Infrastructure projects
- PE License preferred
- Experience with IDOT MWRDGC and County Submittal Processes preferred
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Microsoft Office
Salary is commensurate with experience.
