Our client is looking for an experienced and creative Sous Chef to join their dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and exceptional leadership skills. As a Sous Chef you will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations overseeing food preparation and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high quality and consistency
Supervise and train kitchen staff fostering a collaborative environment
Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain kitchen efficiency
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Develop new menu items and contribute to menu planning
Ideal Candidate:
Good English communication skills
Positive attitude and good personality
Valid work permit required
Proven experience in a similar role preferably in a hotel environment
Ability to work independently and make decisions
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Creative and passionate about culinary arts
