Responsibilities:
Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies for food provision supplies to meet the specific needs of marine industry clients.
Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of highquality food items onboard vessels.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes to optimize stock levels minimize wastage and maintain accurate records.
Quality Control: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that food items meet industry standards and comply with safety regulations.
Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement costs to maximize profitability and minimize expenses.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations import/export procedures and company policies.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on procurement activities including supplier performance cost analysis and inventory levels.
Requirements:
Experience working in the Middle East particularly in Saudi Arabia.
Proven experience in procurement of food provisions within the marine industry.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage products industry standards and quality control procedures.
Proficiency in English Hindi and Arabic preferred.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
