We are currently looking for: Sr. DevOps Engineer

Position Overview We are in search of an experienced and dynamic Senior DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional ability to communicate in clear English as this is vital for team collaboration and project success.

Responsibilities

1. Application Support and Development: Debug support maintain and test software/web applications that support business units or supporting functions. This role involves working extensively with PHP frameworks and related technologies.

2. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong command of a variety of technologies including Bitbucket and Bitbucket pipelines Kubernetes (k8s) Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Helm Flux Argo CD Kafka Golang PHP Terraform Docker Redis Grafana Prometheus and MySQL.

3. Team Collaboration: Play a significant role in crossfunctional international teams contributing to an efficient and prompt response to customer demand ensuring high levels of performance and scalability.

Skills Qualifications and Experience

1. Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant coursework is required.

2. Professional Experience: 57 years of seasoned experience in DevOps engineering and automation with a focus on DevOps tooling and best practices.

3. DevOps Expertise: Advanced skills in CI/CD automation and endtoend testing including proficiency in GitOps.

4. Cloud Platforms Knowledge: Experience in Google Cloud Platform. Amazon AWS is a plus.

5. Scalability and Design: Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable application architecture.

6. ProblemSolving and Initiative: Ability to excel in personal initiative problemsolving and team collaboration.

Highly Desirable

1. Advanced Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is highly desirable.

2. Project Management Skills:

Experience in managing design and development projects.

Proficiency in defining usability objectives aligned with business goals.

Skilled in identifying milestones and goals.

Experience in creating User Personas User Stories User Flows and information architecture.

3. International Teamwork: Experience working with international or crosscultural teams is highly valued.

4. FrontEnd Proficiency: Experience with JavaScript Bootstrap and Webpack. Additional experience with HTML5 JQuery AngularJS and CSS3 is a plus.
