Responsibilities:

• Administer basic life support and first aid to students as needed.
• Monitor students health conditions and respond appropriately.
• Maintain accurate medical records for students.
• Document health assessments immunizations and treatments.
• Promote a healthy school environment.
• Educate students on healthrelated topics (e.g. hygiene nutrition).
• Collaborate with school staff families and community healthcare providers.
• Coordinate care plans for students with chronic health conditions.
• Identify and address health and safety hazards within the school.
• Implement preventive measures (e.g. infection control).

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Rhode Island.
• Bachelor degree in Nursing.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal health regulations.
