Responsible for representing the company in business transactions with internal and external organizations. This position manages the daytoday sourcing and procurement activities of industrial equipment and machinery helps our clients effectively run their businesses through sourcing of available equipment with the best combination of lead time and price.
Heres what youll do
- Responsible for managing the daytoday sourcing and procurement activities of industrial equipment and machinery including but not limited to
- Supplier selection
- Price and lead time negotiations
- Order placement
- Order change management
- Expediting and Supplier delivery performance
- Resolving receiving discrepancies
- Timely payment of invoices
- Primary point of contact for global manufacturer OEM and supplier network
- Identifies and selects highquality suppliers as needed by customer demand and in order to support customer requirements
- Participates in the development and creation of policies procedures and process improvements
- Measures and tracks supplier performance holds the supplier accountable to their contractual obligations resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
- Run daily/weekly/monthly calls with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support order fulfillment and payment processes.
Requirements
- Selfstarter highly motivated and a getitdone attitude is a requirement to be successful in this role
- 4year university degree in technical subject preferably engineering or other technical area and proven supply chain and procurement experience
- Fluent in English language
- Strong online research skills

- Analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization
- Previous technical buyer and supply chain experience in the heavy industrial segment including mining oil & gas automotive aviation or other related industries
- 7 years of experience and a consistent job history
