Job Description
Work closely with both office based teams (Subsurface & Drilling) within the JV, and the rig site teams focusing on safe and efficient well delivery.
• Be responsible for proactively identifying operational hazards including, but not limited to, shallow water and gas flows, potential high-pressure zones, depleted and loss zones with possible stress caging, faults, geomechanical hazards.
• Evaluate likelihood / impact of such hazards and collaborate closely on mitigations.
• Be responsible for coordinating and implementing Wellbore Stability & Geomechanics studies within the asset, leveraging SME support where necessary. This will include different well types in different regions including wildcat exploration, production wells in mature areas, water flood for re-pressurization, vertical and deviated wells.
