Senior Engineer Development Planning

Location: Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Key Objectives

• Conduct studies on potential opportunities focusing on planning and commercial aspects to evaluate rank and identify promising projects and develop optimal proposals for management review.
• Support the team in conducting detailed feasibility studies for selected exploration and greenfield development opportunities collaborating with corporate functions to recommend or reject projects.
• Coordinate with technical and support teams to develop a feasibility study plan for the chosen opportunity.
• Engage and select external consultants to carry out the assigned feasibility study when necessary.
• Oversee collaborate and manage implementation activities to ensure comprehensive results from the studies.
• Consolidate and review study outcomes evaluate and rank them to identify the benefits and drawbacks of proceeding with or declining the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field with an MBA or a postgraduate degree in Economics or Finance preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas exploration and production.
• Strong leadership skills highly motivated and wellorganised.
• Selfstarter with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Detailoriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
