Key Objectives
- Conduct studies on potential opportunities focusing on planning and commercial aspects to evaluate rank and identify promising projects and develop optimal proposals for management review.
- Support the team in conducting detailed feasibility studies for selected exploration and greenfield development opportunities collaborating with corporate functions to recommend or reject projects.
- Coordinate with technical and support teams to develop a feasibility study plan for the chosen opportunity.
- Engage and select external consultants to carry out the assigned feasibility study when necessary.
- Oversee collaborate and manage implementation activities to ensure comprehensive results from the studies.
- Consolidate and review study outcomes evaluate and rank them to identify the benefits and drawbacks of proceeding with or declining the project.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field with an MBA or a postgraduate degree in Economics or Finance preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas exploration and production.
- Strong leadership skills highly motivated and wellorganised.
- Selfstarter with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detailoriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
