Job Description
Based in Faversham Kent were supporting a highly respected well established and fast growing firm of chartered accountants who are recruiting for a Corporate Tax Manager to join their experienced and very successful tax team.
You will work across both reviewing compliance and providing advisory services to a mixed portfolio of owner managed businesses across Kent and the South East. A large proportion of the position can be moulded around the right candidates but your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Assisting with tax advisory work including EIS and share schemes
- Helping with Mergers acquisitions reorganisations and tax due diligence
- Preparation of R&D tax relief claims
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for larger more complex companies/groups
- Overseeing and reviewing the more basic corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met
- Supervision of more junior members of staff
Requirements
- You will be any of ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA/ STEP qualified or qualified by experience with a career background in corporate tax or with a mixed tax background.
- You will have advisory/planning tax experience gained within an accounting firm or tax boutique firm of any size.
- Your background will have been developed within a firm of any size environment from small independent through to Top Tier firm background and you will be looking for a career move offering development and progression potential.

Previous corporate tax experience gained within UK Accountancy Practice ATT / CTA / ACCA or ACA qualified or studying Experience with specific tax software advantageous Strong corporate awareness and relationship building skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Ability to manage and multitask workload effectively Benefits
