Job Description
Open Position: Team Lead Data Scientist (Renowned Insurance Company)
A Renowned Insurance Company is currently hiring Team Lead Data Scientist to join them in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Possess Master s or PHD in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematic or other quantitative field.
- More than 5 years experience transforming data collections and developing statistical models
- Manage a team of data scientists machine learning engineers and big data specialists
- Lead data mining and collection procedures.
- Developing data sets and models including creating statistical analysis techniques to extract knowledge from the data.
- Standardisation of methods and algorithms used across the business unit.
- Recommending solutions to business problems by analysing data and providing recommendations based on findings.
- Experience of implementing quality assurance of softwarebased processes and analytical outputs.
- Advanced analytics tools and languages to analyse large data sets from multiple data sources.
- Strong organizational leadership skills and communication skills
