Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Execute FEED and detailed design for both brownfield and greenfield projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Conduct piping stress analysis and prepare documentation such as piping flexibility reports nozzle load reports and pipe support load calculations.
• Oversee the material selection process for piping structures valves and buildings.
• Design and select static and rotary equipment including pressure vessels shell/tube heat exchangers storage tanks pumps and compressors.
• Perform design reviews for skids including stress and structural analysis.
• Apply handson experience in piping instrumentation and fabrication.
• Conduct technical bid evaluations and comparative analysis with additional experience in proposals tenders and bidding procedures considered a plus.
• Manage project procurement and costcontrolling activities.
• Handle vendor and subcontractor management ensuring interdiscipline coordination and effective conflict resolution.
• Manage change orders and develop goaloriented teams to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

• Education: Masters or Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
• Aspiring candidate must have 4 6 years of handson experience.
• Gulf experience would be preferred.
• Must have experience in integration & commissioning of mechanical equipment (skids is preferred).
• Must have experience using the following software:
  CADWorx CAESAR II STAAD Pro Tekla AutoCAD
