Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Rochester NY in search of a talented Tax Administrator.
Job Summary:
The Tax Administrator will be primarily responsible for timely and accurately processing all incoming tax correspondence managing property tax invoices and providing overall support for the tax team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive identify and sort all incoming tax mail
- Monitor track receipt prepare payment and store notices and property tax bills
- Maintain electronic filing systems in alignment with company policies and procedures
- Efile sales and use returns ensuring all filings are done on a timely basis
- Generate taxrelated forms such as W9 and exemptions certificate requests
- Maintain customer tax exemption records ensuring accuracy and completeness
Qualifications:
- Degree or Certificate in accounting finance or related field (preferred)
- 2 years experience in similar role
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Selfstarter with both independent and team collaboration capabilities
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
- Must be flexible and accountable when there are approaching deadlines
