Tasks

As a Cloud Solution Architect you will play a pivotal role in their ambitious project to migrate the complex application landscape to the Azure Cloud. Heres what youll be doing:

• Lead the Migration: Oversee the technical transformation of our clients distributed application landscape from onpremises to the Azure Cloud.
• Coordinate and Collaborate: Work closely with crossfunctional teams to manage the phased migration whether its porting existing applications developing new ones or integrating thirdparty solutions.
• Architect the Future: Design and develop a cuttingedge cloud architecture converting existing JEE Java applications to cloudnative solutions or migrating them to other containerized cloud platforms.
• Ensure Seamless Transition: Collaborate with DevOps and operations teams to ensure a smooth efficient migration process.
• Innovate and Implement: Support the selection and implementation of new technologies to ensure scalability and flexibility of the cloud solution.

Requirements

• Proven Expertise: Solid experience in the architecture and modernization of complex application landscapes ideally within the financial sector.
• Azure Cloud Proficiency: Deep understanding of Azure Cloud especially in designing and building cloud infrastructures for enterprise applications.
• Java Development Skills: Extensive experience in developing Javabased applications particularly with JEE Spring Boot WebLogic Server and Oracle databases.
• Leadership Skills: A strong track record of inspiring and leading technical teams through complex migration and transformation projects.
• Agility and Collaboration: A solutionoriented mindset and the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams in an agile environment.
