Job Title: Financial Manager (CA(SA))

Location: Johannesburg South Africa

Duration: This position is available for an immediate start. The duration of the contract is approximately 6 months subject to confirmation.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) designation
• 35 years of relevant financial management experience

Key Performance Areas:

• Management Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports for management decisionmaking.
• Financial Management and Reporting: Oversee financial activities including budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.
• Planning & Budgeting: Develop and monitor financial plans and budgets.
• Taxation: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and optimize tax strategies.
• Hedging Process: Manage hedging activities to mitigate financial risks.
• CAPEX Management: Control and monitor capital expenditure projects.
• Working Capital Management: Optimize cash flow and manage working capital efficiently.
• SHEQ: Ensure compliance with Safety Health Environment and Quality standards.
• Governance and Controls: Implement and maintain effective financial controls and governance frameworks.
• People Management & Development: Lead and develop finance team members.

Technical Competencies:

• Indepth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or equivalent.
• Familiarity with financial policies procedures and processes.
• Understanding of regulatory statutory and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in SAP ECC6 EPM and BW systems and Cognos.
• Advanced business report writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Business risk management skills.
• Experience in business planning and strategy development.
