Job Description
Maintenance Technician
Our client a reputable manufacturing company in Medicine Hat AB is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of industrial machinery by performing maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment with a focus on preventive measures to minimize downtime.
- Apply mechanical maintenance troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Replace or repair faulty machine parts and rebuild components as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery.
- Follow established safety procedures and quality standards in all work activities.
- Collaborate with the production team to support operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in industrial maintenance is preferred.
- Previous safety training is a plus.
- Knowledge of mechanical electrical and automated systems.
- Proficiency in using power and manual tools.
- Basic computer skills and math proficiency.
