The Dietetic Technician supports dietitians in providing nutritional care and education often in clinical or food service settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assessment of patients dietary needs.
- Prepare and deliver nutrition education materials.
- Monitor food service operations for quality and safety.
- Support data collection for nutrition research or program evaluation.
Requirements
- Associate degree in dietetics or nutrition.
- Certification as a Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
