Key Responsibilities:

1. Process Documentation:
   1. To document inscope processes to the agreed level of quality enabling subsequent data management and control activities to be taken.
   2. Key activities include linkage to Process Inventory Process Documentation and Model Documentation.
2. Data Scope Definition (including CDE):
   1. To understand the data requirements for the process outcomes at a level to guide the implementation of data controls and ultimately strategic data sourcing.
   2. Key activities include documenting Data Management Scope CDE Capture within DAR CDE Mapping to EDM Data Class and CDE mapping to EDD.
3. Data Lineage:
   1. To understand record and visualize how material data flows through the organization to ensure it is sourced from authorized sources and guide identification of where data quality controls are required to control quality.
   2. Key activities include Lineage Breadth and Depth and Lineage Discovery
4. Authorized Data Sources:
   1. To ensure authority statements are maintained and up to date for ADSs ADDs and ADOs.
   2. Key activities include updating and maintaining Authority Statements and ensuring uptodate metadata for ADS/ADD data sources and associated DQ standards.
5. DQ Controls:
   1. To ensure DQ controls are implemented and monitored at the required level ensuring data remains fit for purpose.
   2. Key activities include Implementing and monitoring DQ controls and KPI monitoring.
6. Data Quality Issues Management:
   1. To ensure DQ issues are identified logged prioritised and resolved in a timely manner
   2. Key activities include following procedures issue logging and risk assessment

Skills:

Strong analytical skills (being able to understand and articulate how the business process relates to technical / system flow and interfaces

Understanding Data Governance processes and the ability to prioritise

Confident communication skills with a broad set of stakeholders

Knowledge in Sustainability and Data Governance
