We are looking for an experienced Senior Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production engineering process optimization and team leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes ensuring efficient production and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Production Oversight: Lead and manage daily production activities to ensure that manufacturing operations are efficient on schedule and within budget.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity reduce waste and enhance product quality.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor production engineers and technicians providing guidance training and support to ensure high team performance.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve production issues including equipment malfunctions process deviations and quality defects.
Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all production equipment is properly maintained and operates at peak efficiency.
Safety Management: Promote and enforce safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all production staff.
Capacity Planning: Analyze production capacity and plan for future expansion or modifications to meet growing demand.
Cost Management: Monitor production costs analyze variances and implement costsaving measures without compromising quality.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and other methodologies to streamline production processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with quality control supply chain and design teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes.
Reporting: Prepare and present production reports to management highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) production efficiency and areas for improvement.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Support the introduction of new products into production by ensuring manufacturability scalability and process robustness.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all production activities comply with relevant industry regulations standards and certifications.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. A Master s degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 710 years of experience in production engineering with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes production planning and process optimization techniques.
Software Proficiency: Experience with manufacturing software such as ERP systems (e.g. SAP) CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD) and data analysis tools (e.g. Minitab).
ProblemSolving: Proven ability to diagnose and solve complex production issues effectively.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating engineering teams.
Continuous Improvement: Experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with crossfunctional teams and management.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
